Paddy Pimblett aims brutal jibe at Conor McGregor teammate after $75,000 UFC bet

Liverpudlian MMA star Paddy Pimblett has aimed a brutal jibe at Conor McGregor's teammate and training partner Dillon Danis, with the two continuing in a war of words. Pimblett is clearly no fan of Danis, who proposed the two bet $75,000 for a grappling match.

Danis has been a training partner of McGregor throughout the latter's reign in the UFC, and was one of the men targeted by Khabib Nurmagomedov after the Russian defeated McGregor in 2018.

Danis is a Mixed Martial Artist himself, but has not competed in three years - but continues to call out some of the biggest names in combat sports - including Pimblett.

On Tuesday, he tweeted: “Hey @theufcbaddy we both put 75k each in escrow and do a grappling match, winner takes all, you in?”

Pimblett responded by saying: "Why you getting Conor to send you pictures of his money you silly sausage, stop embarrassing yourself! Why would I grapple with you? I’ll punch your f***ing in for you if I see you ya soft c**t."

Danis has previously called out Pimblett on a few occasions, with the Liverpudlian clearly not taking him seriously.

Pimblett is back in training ahead of his return to the octagon for UFC London on July 23. The 27-year-old will face a big step up in competition when he'll face Jordan Leavitt at the London event at the O2 Arena.

Pimblett has revealed his weight loss after reaching 200 lbs in the wake of his Performance of the Night win against Vargas. He will be hoping to put on a show against Leavitt on a card which also includes Darren Till and Tom Aspinall.
