A Black Country nursery business has been bought out.
ABC Day Nursery was founded in 1991 in Willenhall and has been acquired by father and son team Gurpreet and Lak Klair.
Previous owner Linda Whitehouse has sold the business ahead of retirement for an undisclosed fee.
She said: "I purchased the business in 2003 and, over the 19 years, have made many changes to the nursery and turned it into a thriving business.
"The business was perfect for the buyers as the excellent management and staff team are in place to continue to provide the service anticipated from parents within the local area.
"I wish Gurpreet and Lak every success in the future as new day nursery owners."
Gurpreet Klair added: "We are excited to take on and continue the hard work and dedication shown by Linda over her 19-year tenure of ABC Day Nursery.
"We are keen to keep the existing management team in place and will only make improvements to better the service provided to our children who attend nursery."
Jassi Sunner is associate director of childcare and education at property agency Christie & Co which handled the sale.
He said: "ABC Day Nursery gained a range of enquiries from new entrants to the sector as well as experienced operators. After another short marketing campaign, an offer was accepted quickly with an eager buyer.
"We are absolutely delighted for Linda who can now enjoy a well-deserved break and time with her husband and wish Gurpreet and Lak all the best with their first setting.
"There is a lack of quality instructions in the Midlands and therefore many operators are looking further afield, exploring areas that they wouldn't ordinarily consider."
