The Festival for Young at Heart is underway at several Lanarkshire venues.
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Cultural Arts Development Team is inviting residents aged 50 and over to attend the annual event.
The festival kicked off on Friday and will run until Saturday, March 26. It aims to celebrate the arts as engaging and accessible for all.
There is an array of shows, music recitals and much more going on in venues across the area.
The festival will also have stimulating exhibitions and an exciting range of participatory sessions from Raku pottery, jewellery making and drum kits.
There is a full range of activities detailed on the website including a colour and line exhibit focusing on painting at Chatelherault Country Park
There is also textile treasure class in Lanark, East Kilbride, Rutherglen and Hamilton.
Dance classes and music classes are also being offered as part of the festival.
For anyone interested in the arts then the unique festival is an ideal choice.
Places are limited so it was recommended to book in advance.
