Outlander star Sam Heughan was back in the capital this week as he paid a visit to one of the city's top restaurants.

The Scots actor popped into The Kitchin in Leith to film a scene for Men in Kilts with co-star Graham McTavish.

The pair, who have just returned from filming in New Zealand, were photographed with top chef and owner Tom Kitchin.
