This past Monday was a very busy day for the Boston Celtics, and even that statement feels like a bit of an undersell. The Celtics not only extended starting point guard Derrick White to a team friendly deal, but also extended star forward Jayson Tatum to what is now the biggest deal in NBA history.
And the wildest thing is, neither of those moves has the potential to compete with the big news of the day. Lead Governor and majority team owner Wyc Grousbeck and his father Irv plan to sell their portion of the team.
