Olivia Munn is set to star alongside Jon Hamm in the upcoming Apple TV+ series 'Your Friends and Neighbors,' based on an original idea by Jonathan Tropper. The drama series, ordered by Apple in December, follows Hamm's character, Coop, a recently divorced hedge fund manager who turns to stealing from wealthy residents in his upstate New York suburb after losing his job. Munn's role in the series has not been revealed yet.
Munn, known for her roles in TV shows like 'The Newsroom,' 'New Girl,' and 'Six,' gained fame as the host of G4's 'Attack of the Show' from 2006 to 2010. Her film credits include 'Magic Mike,' 'X-Men: Apocalypse,' 'The Predator,' 'Office Christmas Party,' and 'Violet.' She also recently provided her voice for the Marvel-Hulu animated series 'Hit-Monkey.'
Jonathan Tropper, the creator of the series, will also serve as the writer, executive producer, and showrunner under his deal with Apple TV+. Hamm, in addition to starring in the series, will executive produce alongside Connie Tavel. This project marks another collaboration between Hamm and Apple TV+, following his appearance in Season 3 of 'The Morning Show' and his role in the streaming platform's ad campaign, 'Everyone But Jon Hamm.'
