Oleksandr Usyk expects to be in Cardiff at ringside if Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua agree to fight on December 3 at the Principality Stadium.
The world heavyweight champion opted not to face Fury in an undisputed clash this December, deciding to nurse some injuries after his 12 round battle with Joshua last month. Instead, the Brit has been teasing fans with the prospect of a massive domestic bust-up against Joshua with his WBC belt on the line.
And the Ukrainian has insisted he will be there should the bout take place, which is now up in the air after Eddie Hearn declared that Fury's deadline of this evening for a signature on their fight contract was too early. Usyk was speaking with Parimatch when he declared that he will attend the fight, after joking that he wouldn't even watch.
"I will support neither of them - I won't even watch this fight," Usyk said before looking at the camera and revealing that he was pranking the interviewer and explaining that he will attend. "Just joking, I will even go there to watch live and see how they will throw punches at each other.
"But honestly, I don't even think about them at all. Do you want to know what I think about? I want to see my children, hug and kiss them. That's all that I am thinking about. "
Usyk insisted after his fight with Joshua in August, which he again won by unanimous decision, that he would retire if his next fight was not against Fury. But his fellow heavyweight champion could end up facing Joshua for a second time if he were to lose the December bout, or may just end up taking on Mahmoud Charr altogether in a disappointing replacement fight.
Fury has vowed to fight on December 3 in the UK regardless of the outcome of his negotiations with Joshua, but would disappoint fans if it were to be Charr. The German is a former world champion of sorts, having held the WBA's 'regular' world title while Joshua was the super champion, but would be viewed as a massive step down from even Dillian Whyte who he fought in April.

" Tyson Fury has no intention of taking this fight if that's the route he's going to take," Hearn told iFL TV of the new deadline set last week. "Tyson Fury said he's retired, Tyson Fury said he was giving his money to the homeless... And now Tyson Fury is saying he's walking away from the fight if we don't sign on Monday.
"Well guess what, we ain't signing on Monday; we're having a meeting on Monday to discuss various points of the contract. We waited nine days for the contract and we've been working very hard with Queensberry, no-ones been messing round, and we have meetings with BT, with DAZN, with Queensberry, to go through the process and get this done but it ain't happening on Monday.
"If you're true to your word, which you never are, then walk away. The public know, you're going to fight Manuel Charr on December 3; it's a joke. so don't waste our time because we've spent a lot of time on this fight already. If you don't want the fight, just walk away. I don't think Tyson and Queensberry are on the same page; they can't be."
