After all the waiting, guessing, and debating, we now know that the Ohio State football team is in the College Football Playoff. The last set of CFP rankings were revealed on ESPN and the Buckeyes snuck into the top teams at No. 4, just into the CFP, and will get a shot at redemption after the loss to Michigan that seemed to doom the 2022 season.
The other four are what we thought they would be with Georgia grabbing the top spot, followed by Michigan, and TCU rounding out the top four. With that result, the Buckeyes will face the Bulldogs in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta on New Year’s Eve. Michigan and TCU will tussle out in the desert in the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona on the same date.

If you thought the season was a wash and was in full meltdown and dispair mode, perhaps nothing can quench the depression of losing to Michigan for the second straight season, but at least there’s still a national championship to play for.
