Odsonne Edouard has told Crystal Palace to keep working hard on the training field as they look to turn results around on the pitch.
The Eagles face a struggling Liverpool side, who were thrashed 5-2 by Real Madrid on Tuesday and sit eighth in the league, at Selhurst Park on Saturday, looking for their first Premier League win of 2023. It looked like that barren run would end but Brentford scored a 96th-minute equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw last weekend.
Palace started the season well but their form since the turn of the year has seen them drop down the table and though they are currently 12th, Patrick Vieira's side are only six points above the relegation zone.

Now in his second season at the club, Edouard has spoken about how many players arrived in Vieira's first season alongside the striker and how it takes time to adapt, while stressing the importance of working hard during training due to the high levels of the Premier League week in week out.
“Every game is hard and challenging [in the Premier League]. We have to keep training to be at the level we expect," Edouard told Palace's website. “It’s a very different league [to any I’ve played in before]. I’d say it’s more difficult overall: physically, technically. Everything is more difficult.
“Sometimes you have a great result, sometimes you have a bad result. These first six months [of this season] we have some positivity to take, and we have to keep going in a positive way.
“A lot of players came in last year at the same time as me. It takes time to adapt to playing with each other, and to how the manager wants to play. If we keep going like this, we will get the results we want time after time.
“Everywhere in the Premier League it is tight, difficult and challenging. But we have to maintain a high level. We just need to try and win more points. We work hard every day to perform on the weekend, and win football matches.”
