Odin Thiago Holm has completed a transfer move to Celtic.
The Norwegian midfielder, 20, becomes Brendan Rodgers first signing since his return to Celtic.
Holm has agreed a five-year deal at Parkhead on his transfer switch from Eliteserien club Valerenga. He will wear the number 15 at Celtic.
And Rodgers revealed he has already spoken to Holm over his switch with the midfielder a long-term potential signing at Celtic.
The Celtic boss said: “We are delighted to bring Odin to the club and to secure his signing so early in the window.
“He is a player who has been in the club’s scouting and recruitment system for some time.
"I have looked at him closely and believe he is someone who can make a big impact at the club.
'I have spent time already with Odin, he is an ambitious, exciting young player and I know he is delighted to be joining us.'
“He is a great addition to the quality squad we already have and we really look forward to working with him.”
Meanwhile, Rodgers is set to hold his first press conference since returing to Celtic tomorrow.
The former Leicester boss will be officially unveiled as manager at Celtic Park before a press call in the afternoon.
It's understood Rodgers will face the media at 4pm on Friday after signing a three-year deal to return to Parkhead.
