Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is reportedly seeking $15 million per season in a new contract, which is down from his previous asking price, league sources told Sports Illustrated‘s Albert Breer.
Breer was told that Beckham had previously been seeking more money per season. ProFootballTalk previously reported that the receiver was hoping for a new contract that paid him around $20 million per season, a number the receiver refuted.
Beckham made an appearance at the NFL’s annual meetings in Arizona to meet with personnel from teams around the league.
Beckham turns 31 in November, but has still shown he is a big play threat when healthy. He was a key part of the Rams’ run to a Super Bowl two seasons ago, and is sure to prioritize playing for a contender, at the right price, as part of a new contract.
