Nottingham Forest are looking to cause a major upset when they take on Manchester City at the City Ground this weekend.
The last time the Reds hosted City at their home ground Pep Guardiola was still playing and Brennan Johnson was just five months old. The scoreline was 1-1 on that October day in 2001, a result Steve Cooper and his troops would certainly take today.
Their most recent meeting saw Man City run riot at Eastlands, putting six goals past the newly promoted outfit in August. Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick on that occasion, and the Norwegian will be looking to cause similar damage again when he returns to the stadium his dad, Alf Inge, played in for four years during the nineties.

NOTEBOOK: Cooper's 'special' hope, painful injury stat, goalkeeper stance
City are a daunting task, but Forest have not been beaten at home in seven games (four wins, three draws). It's their longest unbeaten home run since a 20-game stretch between February 1995 and January 1996.
In a less that ideal omen, Forest have lost their last seven games against the reigning champions by an aggregate score of 29-3, with City accounting for over a fifth of the goals against. The last time they defeated the defending champions was all the back in December 1994, a 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
