Former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor has taken a swipe at Dean Henderson following his explosive rant about Manchester United.
The goalkeeper, currently on a season-long loan at Nottingham Forest, revealed he was left 'fuming' at United's empty promises to make him number one at the club last season. He also claimed he wasted a year of his career at Old Trafford in an interview with talkSPORT.
He said: "To be honest, it has been the toughest 12 months of my career. It's been hard and I am so glad I got out the other side of it. The conversation I had with United after the Euros was that I was going back to Old Trafford to be number one.

"I got COVID and when I came back I should have still been number one. But nobody followed through with what they told me. It was frustrating as well because I turned down so many good loans last summer.
"It's criminal at my age, I wasted twelve months. I was fuming. I worked hard off the pitch and on the training pitch to keep myself improving day in and day out. I'm now looking forward to a good season with Forest."
In response to his comments, Agbonlahor said: "[Dean] Henderson for me had one good season at Sheffield United, got carried away with his move and it seems like he's talking the talk but didn't walk the walk at Manchester United. For me, I didn't see him have one good game at Man United, one decent save.
"You get Covid and if someone comes in for you and does well, what are you meant to say? Sorry David De Gea, I was promised the number one jersey, sorry, you've got to go.
"He's 25, he's had a good season at Sheffield United, he got his move to Manchester United - he needs to relax a bit. I think he's getting big time to be honest.
"Go to Forest, keep your mouth shut, have a good season, come back to Manchester United and he might break into the team again."
