Nottingham Forest fans notice big FIFA 23 problem ahead of release

Nottingham Forest supporters have been sharing their displeasure that the City Ground does not feature in the soon-to-be-released FIFA 23.

The latest edition of the football simulation video game is released worldwide on Friday but those who have been able to pre-order a particular version and play it early have already noticed a glaring omission. Due to the relative lateness of the Reds' promotion to the Premier League via the Championship play-offs last season, it means that the stadium will only be added through an update at a later date rather than upon the initial release.

Forest fans are less than happy at having to wait even longer to see the ground recreated in the game. Here is a selection of the social media reaction ahead of the official release date.

One Forest fan said: "FIFA 23 need to sort out the ground situation for NFFC. They play at The City Ground, NOT Ivy Lane." Another added: "No excuse to not put it in now."

Another gamer asked: "How come the City Ground (Nottingham Forest) is not on FIFA 23?" A fellow fan questioned: "So they're not putting the City Ground straight on FIFA, got to wait for them to do an update? I've waited years for The City Ground to be on FIFA, and they're dragging it out."

Were you looking forward to playing at the City Ground in FIFA too? Let us know in the comments section...
