Norton Motorcycles told us it would have a resurgence, but its path back to the pinnacle of the motorcycle world involves more than launching all-new models in the form of the Manx R and the Atlas. Celebrating the bikes that brought the brand to the forefront is highly important too, and what better place to do that than at the Goodwood Revival this September 18-20.
Norton is partnering with Works Racing to compete in the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy aboard a 1953 Norton Manx 30M ‘Long Stroke’. The Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy sees motorcycles produced between 1948 and 1966 contested over two 25-minute races, with each machine shared by two riders and the aggregate result determining the overall winner.
