A nine-year-old schoolgirl completely blew the Britain's Got Talent judges away this weekend with an unexpected powerhouse performance. Immi Davis, from Welyn, took to the stage to perform 'I Put a Spell on You' by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, and completely stunned the judges with her amazing voice.
Simon Cowell took an instant like to Immi as she introduced herself saying "they had become friends" due to her sweet yet funny personality. Then she completely transformed as she started singing having revealed her incredibly powerful voice.
The performance was met with a standing ovation from both the judges and the audience, with presenter Ant being the first to point out how incredible the audition was. Following huge applause from the audience, Simon told Immi: "You're not human. That is extraordinary."
And it wasn't just Simon who thought she was brilliant, as Alesha added: "It's like you transform. We're under your spell". Amanda then dubbed the performance as "amazing."
Fellow judge David Walliams also joked: "Are you sure you weren't miming?" as he stood in complete shock at the flawlessness of her performance. "I'm completely gobsmacked," he added.
As well as the judges, fans of the show were left amazing by the youngster's performance. Taking to Twitter, broadcaster India Willoughby said: "Wow. 9 years old??? Amy could be this year’s outright winner! Brilliant!", while another viewer added: "Sorry but where’s the golden buzzer for that 9yr old super duper kid Immi !!! I need her attitude because she is fierce.. well done young lady."
