The Patriots will be in prime time in Week 14, set to take on the Steelers in a battle at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on Thursday Night Football.
Prime Video took the opportunity to promote New England’s upcoming clash by displaying a graphic during the broadcast of the Cowboys-Seahawks’ tilt on Thursday night.
Amazon’s graphic featured star edge-rusher T.J. Watt standing in front of a Steelers’ logo. But rather than display a Patriots player opposite Watt, the graphic depicted coach Bill Belichick on New England’s side.
With some uncertainty surrounding the Patriots’ quarterback position, with Bailey Zappe potentially set to start over Mac Jones, it seems the graphic department wasn’t clear on who the face of the team is. They comically opted to settle for the franchise’s longtime head coach.
Amazon had no idea which #Patriots player to feature on the promo for next week... so they just put Bill Belichick.

Have never seen something like this before😂 pic.twitter.com/dHLvcCGPJ2
Fans on social media got a kick out of the graphic, and they had plenty of jokes on X.
Team so bad they don’t got a player worthy of showcasing 😭😭😭
