Liverpool are one of five English clubs to have been informed about Brazil and Paris Saint-Germain sensation Neymar Jr's desire to play in the Premier League, according to reports.
The 31-year-old Brazilian has enjoyed six triumphant years at the Parc des Princes after signing for the Ligue 1 giants in a £198m deal from Barcelona in 2017. However, despite his incredible exploits this season there are reported to be doubts over his long-term future in the French capital.
According to 90min, the player's representatives have spoken to Liverpool, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United over a sensational switch to the Premier League later this year - the forward's current deal at PSG expires in July 2025.

"Intermediaries are believed to have spoken with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle, informing the clubs of Neymar's interest in a move to the Premier League, as well as his potential availability," reads the report.
The 31-year-old has tentatively found himself linked with a move to England throughout his career as his profile as one of the game's most exciting figures continued to rise during his years in Spain. However, such tentative links appeared to be taken slightly more seriously last summer following the sale of Chelsea to a Clearlake capital and Todd Boehly-led consortium, with then-manager Thomas Tuchel said to have explored the possibility of bringing Neymar to Stamford Bridge.
But less than a year later, the west Londoners are thought to be the Premier League side leading the race for Neymar, with the Brazilian said to have been discussed at length in a meeting between Boehly and PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi in the French capital on Tuesday, according to ESPN.
Liverpool have significantly bolstered their attacking ranks since the departure of Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich last summer, with Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo making the move to Anfield for a combined initial fee of £101m. However, the Reds could find themselves in the market for further options if Roberto Firmino decides not to extend his eight-year stay at Anfield beyond the summer, with the Brazilian's contract set to expire in July.
Despite winning four Ligue 1 titles, the success of Neymar's time in Paris is still up for considerable debate considering he, alongside Kylian Mbappe, has been unable to lead the Parisians to a maiden Champions League triumph.
