Newcastle United are taking a look at 19-year-old trialist Amadou Diallo. The left winger was in the Toon Under-21 team that faced Middlesbrough’s second string at Bishop Auckland tonight in Premier League 2.
Diallo had previously been with West Ham Under-21s but was released by the Irons. Chelsea also took a look at the wide man after his release by West Ham but he gets the chance to impress after being handed a trial by Steve Harper at the Academy.
Diallo is a speedy winger but was hit by injury problems at West Ham. Diallo signed a professional contract with the Irons after he celebrated his 17th birthday in 2020.
But was not offered a fresh deal at the London Stadium. He can play wide on the left and right and is an exciting talent when fully fit.
