Jamie Redknapp believes Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak has the potential to become a 'world star'.
Isak joined Newcastle for a club record fee of £63 million back in the summer, but saw his first few months at St James' Park hampered by injury.
He marked his debut with the opening goal in a 2-1 defeat at Liverpool in August 2022, and bagged his second 18 days later in a 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth.

However, an injury which he sustained during international duty in October would ultimately confine him to the sidelines for three months. He emerged from the bench to score the winning goal against Fulham on his return, and has netted four goals in as many games in the Premier League.
The Swede has made a real impression on Tyneside since the turn of the year and former Liverpool and England midfielder Redknapp has raved that there are very few forwards as talented as him at the moment.
"In Alexander Isak they've got a player I believe who can become a world star. He's got so much quality, he's got all the attributes." Redknapp told Sky Sports.
"There are not many number nines in the world right now who can do what he can do. He can take it into his feet, he can run in behind, he's fantastic in the air."
