Newcastle United have confirmed their first pre-season friendly of the summer with a trip to Glasgow to face Rangers at Ibrox.
The friendly encounter takes place on July 18 and will be a popular away day for the Toon Army. Newcastle have a long-term history of friendly matches against the Gers.
The game will be a testimonial for goalkeeper Allan McGregor and will kick off at 7.45pm.

Eddie Howe said: "A trip to Rangers will present a strong challenge at what will be an important time in our summer preparations.
"Any time Rangers play at Ibrox, you expect competitive football, and we hope to contribute to a great occasion in honour of Allan McGregor's achievements with the club."
Rangers manager Michael Beale commented: "This will be a very proud night for Allan and his family and an excellent, and important test for us. We will have an interesting pre-season, with this being the first game announced.
"There will be some top friendlies in there to help us get ready for the new season."
McGregor played for Rangers between 2001 and 2012 before leaving for stints at Besiktas, Hull City and Cardiff City. He has been back at Ibrox since 2018 and is still a valued member of the first-team squad at the age of 41.
