Newcastle Art Space names $5000 Hunter Emerging Art Prize winner

Claire Heise was named the winner of the Hunter Emerging Art Prize on Friday night at the opening of an exhibition of work by the finalists at Newcastle Art Space in Tighes Hill.

Heise won $5000 for her painting, Green Polka dots. The major prize was provided by MacLeans Booksellers.
