New traffic plan for Margao from 5am till counting ends

MARGAO: In view of counting of votes for South Goa scheduled to be held at Damodar College of Commerce, Comba, Margao on Thursday, the traffic police have made a traffic movement plan which will be effective from 5 am and remain in force till the conclusion of the counting process.

Dy SP (traffic) Dharmesh Angle said that there will be reserved parking with colour codes for officials and staff on counting duty.

Vehicles of candidates and general public will be separately parked at Pedda Ground/ Montepio Parking. Bus parking will be available on the road leading towards ICICI Bank from ACC Cement Godown, along the railway track.

There will be general parking for vehicles at the old Margao bus stand and ring road from the railway underpass/subway, Comba to intersection at Old market.

There will be no vehicular access to general public towards Damodar College.
