New sleeper train linking Edinburgh with Paris on overnight direct service proposed

If you’ve ever dreamed of heading from Edinburgh to the City of Love on a direct sleeper train, you might be in luck.

The team at Midnight Trains have proposed a new service, with an electric overnight service with a ‘hotel’ vibe. According to TimeOut, the company is currently working to deliver a service between Paris to Milan and Venice, due to launch in 2024.

Supposedly, they have ambitions to link ten European destinations including Copenhagen, Berlin and the Scottish capital.
