A new police force has been drafted in to investigate claims a Cambridge graduate was allegedly “thrown off” a balcony after rowing with rock star Pete Doherty at a drug-fuelled house party.

Mark Blanco, 30, plunged 11ft to the ground from a flat in Whitechapel and was found suffering from severe head injuries on December 3, 2006.
