Rockstar Games' Bully has been age-rated in Taiwan, which suggests that the game is set for a re-release on modern platforms sometime soon.

The platforms that Bully has been age-rated for include the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

While there is also an Xbox 360 version of Bully that was recently rated, this is believed to be an error as there is a separate rating for Bully: Scholarship Edition on that console.

Bully Gets New Age Rating

Another thing worth noting is that a PlayStation 2-emulated version of the game is already available for PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store. Furthermore, Bully: Scholarship Edition is also now on Steam, according to Gematsu.

The body responsible for rating games in Taiwan is one of the few worldwide that consistently leak new games or re-releases. A previous example of this is the Read Dead Redemption versions on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

But the new age ratings come as there is already Bully: Scholarship Edition available suggesting that players can expect a potential remaster coming sometime in the future. However, there are others who don't believe this will be happening.

The reason for this is that Bully has been confirmed to join GTA Online's subscription service GTA+ on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024. Some believe that Rockstar Games is preparing a re-release that will be included in GTA+ in the next few days, said RockStarIntel.

A Potential Remaster

This is similar to how Red Dead Redemption came to the PlayStation 4 and then later became part of GTA+. Last month, the studio said that Bully will be accessible for GTA+ members on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, iOS, and Android.

The situation comes a few weeks after the community learned how Rockstar Games canceled a Bully Nintendo DS port. A source at the studio explained that it would have been a top-down game.

The Bully game was previously showcased as one of Rockstar Games' best-selling titles on its new Game Launcher store design. Also, the game's soundtrack returned to Spotify earlier this year after it was removed years ago.

The original game was released in 2006 and since then, Rockstar Games has not done much for the franchise in any meaningful way. It was later ported to Xbox 360 and PC in 2008 and then had a mobile version come out in 2016, according to ComicBook.
