New £8.5m Scots sports facility is on track to be a real winner

Stakeholders involved in the new £8.5 million athletics hub at Craigie in Ayr were given a glimpse of how the project is shaping up.

Councillors and representatives from a number of sporting organisations enjoyed a VIP tour at the much-anticipated site.

Ayr Seaforth Athletics Club, Ayr Rugby Club, Ayr United Football Academy, the University of the West of Scotland, Scottish Rowing, Scottish Athletics, Ayrshire College and Sportscotland were all represented on the tour.
