A new aparthotel on the banks of the River Clyde is en course to open its doors to guests later this year.
Business Traveller reports that the 160-unit Adagio Glasgow Custom House is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2022.
Located on Clyde Street near to St Enoch Square, it's 'striking and modern' design is said to take inspiration from the port and industrial surroundings.

As well as the aparthotel, the redevelopment of the Grade-A listed Custom House will also see the historic sandstone building transformed into a four-star 303-bed Clayton Hotel.
The £90m redevelopment plans were first unveiled back in 2018 when Isle of Man-based Artisan Real Estate received planning permission to build a hotel and leisure quarter on the Glasgow waterfront.

The Adagio Aparthotel will link to The Custom House via a covered courtyard and glazed roof, and it set to feature street-level bars and restaurants at the rear of the site and a terrace on the seventh-floor level that overlooks the river.
