Netherlands vs Qatar prediction and odds ahead of final Group A clash at 2022 FIFA World Cup

The final round of group stage matches is upon us at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and Netherlands will be looking to improve on their performances despite sitting top of Group A when they face Qatar. The Dutch national side, despite picking up four points in two matches, have been underwhelming when they have faced Ecuador and Senegal so far.

Oranje are, unsurprisingly, the heavy favourites in this match with Betfred pricing Louis van Gaal's side at 1/5 with Qatar at 14/1 and a draw at 6/1. The host have already crashed out of their own competition while Netherlands, despite being group leaders, have been below average so far this tournament.

Van Gaal spoke highly ahead of the tournament and how he has ambitions of his side to go on to become world champions for the first time ever. Yet, we are yet to see the case as to why they deserve to be worthy challengers, let alone champions after below-par performances against Senegal and Ecuador. They will want to make sure to avoid any embarrassment when they face minnows Qatar.
