Netflix unveils sneak peek at highly anticipated Jane Austen adaptation

Netflix has unveiled a first look at its six-part TV adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, scheduled for release this autumn.
Emma Corrin leads the cast as Elizabeth Bennett, with Jack Lowden portraying Mr Darcy, supported by Olivia Colman, Rufus Sewell, Louis Partridge and Fiona Shaw.
The teaser features Corrin as Elizabeth, glimpses of Darcy, and shots of dancing, aiming to faithfully bring the iconic story to life.
The series is intended to join the “yearn-aissance” by appealing to existing fans and introducing a new generation to Austen's classic.
Dolly Alderton, known for her bestselling book Everything I Know About Love, has written and executive produced the adaptation.
