Netflix fans say same thing after watching Arnold Schwarzenegger's Fubar

Arnold Schwarzenegger has burst back onto our screens in Netflix's latest action series, Fubar.

The eight-part series sees the action icon, 75, take on his first ever TV role as veteran CIA operative Luke Brunner. On the brink of retirement, Luke is called for one more undercover mission and must save another operative.

In a shock twist, he discovers that said operative is his daughter Emma. Neither of them were aware that the other worked for the CIA, as they begin to realise they really don't know each other that well at all.

Monica Barbaro stars as Luke's daughter, Emma while Warped!'s Milan Carter, comedian Fortune Feimster and You Season 3 alum Travis Van Winkle are part of Luke’s team of experienced agents. Austin Powers star Fabiana Udenio plays Tally, the ex-wife that Luke’s still pining for.

The comedy-action series also features actors Jay Baruchel, Aparna Brielle, Andy Buckley, Barbara Eve Harris and Gabriel Luna. The show was created by award-winning screenwriter and executive producer Nick Santora, who described Fubar as 'the most surreal project of my career.'

Released in the UK on May 25, each episode clocks in at just under an hour long. Some fans have binged the series already, with many making the same demand.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts - and they want more. @MitsuShow said: "I would totally watch a second season of FUBAR. What a shockingly fun journey that was," while @ItsFina_ agreed: "I need second season of Fubar!"

@katie_jr echoed: "I binge watched #FUBAR last night and I already need a second season," and @mustafazor87 said: "nice work @netflix Fubar is great show I really hope for second season".

@simonjohnmorris said: "Loved #FUBAR @Schwarzenegger and cast were hilarious! Fingers crossed @netflix makes a second season," as @dmitchinson asked: @Schwarzenegger so, is there a second season of #fubar?"

The series title gets its name from a long-winded acronym, which stands for: "Full-throttle father-daughter bonding, Uncomfortable situations, Bombs. bullets, bullet trains, Abs and AR-nold". It's the second parent-saves-child troupe action show Netflix has aired recently, with Jennifer Lopez's highly acclaimed film The Mother debuting earlier this month.
