Josip Juranovic could leave Celtic in January amid reported interest from Chelsea, claims Hoops legend Neil Lennon.
The Croatian starred at the World Cup and has since been linked with a number of top teams around Europe.
With Reece James struggling to stay fit, Chelsea have been credited with an interest in the 27-year-old, along with Barcelona.
Juranovic joined Celtic from Legia Warsaw in 2021 and has four years still to run on his contract with the Glasgow giants.
Despite their domestic success and participation in the Champions League, Celtic have often sold their leading players to Premier League clubs, such is the vast financial gap between the two divisions.
Lennon believes that, coupled with the form of Anthony Ralston, would allow Juranovic to leave should the right offer emerge.
“He’s good enough for the Premier League and any of the top clubs in Europe, but it is difficult to put a price tag on him as it is all down to what the buying club wants to pay,” Lennon told Football Odds.
“Celtic will try to get a large sum for him, but it looks like it is all set up for him to leave during this window.”
Bhoys boss Ange Postecoglou stressed the club had heard “nothing” about a potential move for the player after his side thrashed Hibernian on Wednesday night.
