There aren't many unofficial national holidays that I adhere to, but I'm making an exception for National Picky Bits Day, which falls this Saturday, 27th June.

And it's come at the perfect time - the heat across the UK has risen to unprecedented levels, so much so that turning on an oven or boiling water to cook dinner would feel like a torture method. So, picky bits it is.
