National Lottery Christmas draw dates and times for all games

On an ordinary day, winning big on a National Lottery game really does change lives. But winning big over Christmas might just be the cherry on top of the cake.

Whether you fancy taking your chances with the Euromillions or you’re hoping for something to set you up for life, then there are options. Games start from £1 and whether you enjoy the thrill of picking your own numbers or leaving it to chance, there are options for everyone.

So if you’re going to be playing over Christmas, here are all the dates and draw times you need to prepare for. Good luck!

EuroMillions Christmas dates

EuroMillions will be played on Friday, December 23 and Tuesday, December 27. The latest you can buy a ticket is 7:30 pm, the draw takes place at 8:45pm and will be broadcast on the National Lottery website, on its YouTube channel.

Lotto Christmas draws

Lotto, which has been drawn twice a week since its launch in 1994, will be drawn on Christmas Eve, December 24. One line, made up of six numbers from one to 59, costs just £2.

You’ll need to buy your tickets by 7:30 pm. The draw will be broadcast live on the National Lottery website and on its YouTube channel.

Set for Life Christmas draw

Winning £10,000 every month for 30 years is a pretty amazing Christmas present. Set for Life, which draws every Monday and Thursday, will draw at 8 pm on December 22 and December 26.

Pick five numbers from one to 47, plus one life ball from one to 10 for just £1.50 and cross your fingers. The top prize of £10,000 a month for 30 years is followed up by a second-place prize of £10,000 every month for a year.

Thunderball Christmas draw

The cheapest National Lottery game is Thunderball, for which tickets cost just £1. The top prize is a comfortable £500,000 and they say that Thunderball is the best chance you have at winning half a million from a £1 ticket.

Thunderball takes place four times a week, with draws taking place on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. This Christmas, you can play on December 23, Christmas Eve on December 24 and on December 27.
