Aug Nymex natural gas (NGQ23) on Wednesday closed -0.052 (-1.92%).

Nat-gas prices Wednesday closed moderately lower on the outlook for cooler U.S. temperatures, which will crimp nat-gas demand from electricity providers to power air conditioning. Forecaster Maxar Technologies said below-normal temperatures are expected in the upper Midwest and Great Lakes region from July 10-19. Losses were limited on forecasts for above-normal temperatures in the West and Northeast from July 10-19.
