September Nymex natural gas (NGU23) on Tuesday closed -0.074 (-2.81%).

Nat-gas prices Tuesday fell to a 2-week low and settled moderately lower. Gas prices came under pressure Tuesday after forecaster Maxar Technologies said rain would sweep into the Midwest and East Coast between August 6-10, cooling off the regions and reducing nat-gas demand from electricity providers to power air conditioning.
