Nat-Gas Prices Climb on the Outlook for Above-Average Temps

September Nymex natural gas (NGU23) on Tuesday closed +0.052 (+1.91%).

Nat-gas prices Tuesday extended Monday's sharp rally to a 5-week high on the outlook for hot temperatures in several regions of the U.S. to boost nat-gas demand from electricity providers to power air conditioning. Forecaster Maxar Technologies said above-normal temperatures are expected on the East and West coasts and throughout the South and Southwest from August 13-22.
