A woman has been left furious at her boyfriend after he demanded her family members refer to him by his full title rather than just by first name - even in casual conversation.
Posting on Reddit, the woman explained her boyfriend, named Justin, is a doctor and when he was introduced to her family and friends, he immediately found it "disrespectful" that they would refer to him by his first name, rather than putting "Dr" in front.
The woman also said her boyfriend will only allow her family to drop the title if and when the pair get married, and has now started to "aggressively" correct people when they call him Justin instead of Dr. Justin.
