Mumbai: Staffer fakes invoices, steals Rs 11 crore cellphones

MUMBAI: A private company, an authorised supplier of electronic goods, particularly iPhones, has lodged a complaint against its senior sales employee for allegedly stealing 1,850 mobile phones worth Rs 11.13 crore by submitting bogus invoices and making fake entries to show the sale.

Accused Manish Pujari, sales executive at Ingram Micro India since 2017, has been booked by the Parksite police under IPC sections of cheating, forgery, breach of trust and making counterfiet seal and other documents.
