Starbucks employee walks Malibu visitor out of store after she gets uncomfortable at catcallers. Then he foils a possible kidnapping attempt

When she was just a teen, former pop singer Savannah Phillips had a scary experience when she decided to throw a tantrum and drive to a different city in California. She shared the story on TikTok and Instagram, reaching nearly 300K views. She explained that when she was 16, she drove from West Hollywood to Malibu after a fight with her mom. When she got there, it was around 4 PM and pretty busy. Since it seemed safe, she stopped at a Starbucks.

“So I get out of my car, I’m walking in, and I hear two men catcalling me,” she alleged. “I look up. They’re in their 50s or 60s, and I’m like, I’m uncomfortable. At that moment, I should have walked back to my car and just left.” Instead, Phillips went inside. Now, she also mentioned that from the door, only the passenger door was visible, not the driver’s door. So when she looked up from the line and noticed that one man was no longer around, it scared her.
