A mum set up her own football team after she struggled to find one for her son.
Stacey Savage, from Halewood, was training to be a midwife before she had her children. She now cares full time for one of her children, who has disabilities.
She established a support group for parents who have children with similar disabilities and also founded the Merseyside Youth Football League (MYFL). Stacey, 38, and her partner were looking for a football team for their son, but they struggled to find one, so decided to take matters into their own hands and started their own side.
