The mum of one of Britain's most pampered toddlers has hit back at critics - and says she's just trying to do the best for her child. Kasey Akram, 32, hit the headlines over the weekend after she revealed her lavish spending on son Jareem, one.
The single mum - who is on benefits - said she spends large sums each month on the tot, including designer clothing and a gold dummy. Hundreds of people commented online after the story was released with many slamming Kasey's parenting.
But the mum has now hit back and says she just wants the best for her son - like every parent should. Kasey said: “I’m just one person and people have made a split-second judgement when I’m a good mum just trying to give him a better childhood than I had.
