A woman can no longer look her postman in the eyes after her Amazon order arrived at her door without the discreet packaging it originally promised.
Chloe Lythgoe was confused after she received an alert on her phone that her expected delivery was arriving - only for the driver to smirk to himself as he walked up the path.
Oblivious to the issue at first, the mum signed for the package but was immediately mortified after spotting the X-rated sex toy inside was printed on the front of the label.
The design of the product was printed directly next to the barcode that the postal worker had to scan at delivery.
"I opened the door and he handed it over, smirking as if he knew what was in the box," the embarrassed woman explained when it happened last year.
"It was awful, I looked at him as if to say 'please, I hope you've not seen it' and he looked back to say 'I know what's in there'."
Chloe, 21, originally ordered the £15 adult toy from online retailer Amazon, with the product delivery details promising to make discretion 'a primary consideration'.
However, the woman, from Warrington, says she now feels "mortified" every time she sees the postman.
"I went bright red, just closed the door and thought 'typical me'," she said. "I just wanted the ground to open up and eat me, it was less than discreet.
"I opened the door in my dressing gown too with my kids stood behind me wondering who was at the door with my hair up in a 'mum bun' - I bet I looked the part.
"I felt so embarrassed. Even now when he comes to the door I can't look at him in the eye, just knowing he knows what I get up to makes me cringe.
"He still delivers all my parcels and every time I open the door I think 'oh why? Please change'. I've got years of embarrassment to come."
The full-time mum-of-three ordered the product upon the recommendation of her friends as she vowed to "try something new".
Chloe said her pals felt her embarrassment when she told them the story and added: "On the page, it said it was discreet and I thought that was fine.
"When I told my friends, surprisingly they asked me how it was, so the company has sold quite a few [off the back of] my [Facebook] story, I believe."
At the time, an Amazon spokesperson said: "Amazon is investigating the issue."
