MSU F Xavier Booker says he’s more ‘comfortable’ entering second season

Michigan State forward Xavier Booker is ready for an increased role for the Spartans in year two with the program.

Booker met with the local media on Friday, and discussed how he is feeling more comfortable as he enters his second season in the green-and-white. Booker is a former five-star prospect that is expected to be one of the Spartans’ top players this season.

Michigan State basketball officially opens the regular season on Monday in a home non-conference matchup against Monmouth. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on Big Ten Plus.
