Family of mother and teenage girl ‘shocked and speechless’ after pair drown off Essex beach

The grieving family of a mother and daughter who died after getting into difficulty in the water off the Essex coast have said they are “speechless and shocked” at the tragedy.

Shally Rahman, 41, and Samiha Rahman, 15, were reportedly “not very good swimmers” and were visiting the beach for a day trip.
