Dougie Imrie has been awarded the Scottish Championship Manager of the Month award for January after his first full month as a boss.
The Hamilton Accies legend - who hails from Lanark - took charge at Cappielow in December and the Ton have undergone a change in fortunes.
Morton have accumulated 11 points from their last five league games, including Saturday's 1-0 win against Inverness.
It's eased potential relegation fears in Greenock and they are now five points clear of basement club Queen of the South, although still only a point above relegation play-off spot occupiers Ayr.
Imrie said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be given the accolade of Glen’s Manager of the Month but it’s not about me.
"I have to give huge credit to my coaching staff of Andy Millen and David Scott for their help and also the players because without them you don’t win awards.
"It’s a team effort and since I’ve come in everyone has been fantastic.”
