'Moron' driver leaves neighbours fuming over bizarre parking that blocked them in

Locals say they have been left fuming with 'inconsiderate parkers' on one particular road which is often left completely blocked off by dumped motors.

Vikii Cooper, of Mount Gould, said a recent case saw one driver leave their car in the middle of the road, leaving neighbours trapped or blocked from entering.

Posting a photo of the blue Ford Focus Estate to Facebook, Vikii said the car had completely blocked off the entrance to Edith Avenue, Plymouth Live reports.

Writing underneath the photo, Vikii said: "Terrific parking, meaning entrance to Edith Avenue is obstructed (plenty of spaces nearby). I’ve reported it."

Vikki's fellow neighbours were equally as angry and waded into the Facebook comments to say their piece, with some claiming they'd even asked the owner to move the car.

Other neighbours pointed out the dangers of obstructing emergency vehicles - and one resident even suggested getting the police involved.

Grace said: "Surely that is illegal parking and would obstruct an emergency vehicle, therefore the police should be informed."

Jo claimed the bizarre parking was a recurring issue in the street, she said: "People have always parked like morons on that corner for as long as I remember. Hope it gets moved soon and doesn't cause too many issues."

Patsy agreed, adding: "They do it all the time on all corners of this road."

However, Kelly had a different view and told her fellow residents to get some "perspective".

She said: "Jesus Christ there are children dying of starvation, cancers and disease in the world and we are complaining about crap like this. PERSPECTIVE. It’s an inconvenience at most."
