Alan Hutton admits he would be 'very surprised' if Morgan Whittaker wasn't a Rangers player by the close of the January transfer window.

There were fears that a swoop for the talented winger would be scuppered because, having been on loan at Plymouth, if he turned out Russell Martin's men he wouldn't be able make the switch as players can only turn out for two teams per season.
However, that scenario is now out of the equation with the English Championship side now not playing until after the winter dealings come to an end. They next take to the field on February 4 against Birmingham City. Michael Beale has already completed one transfer in the shape of Todd Cantwell from league rivals Norwich City. He's joined on a long-term deal.
