Britain has a deadly diet problem. Scientists think beans could be the answer

The UK public could be steered towards healthier, greener food choices through simple measures like including more beans in school meals and rearranging hospital menus, researchers have found.

A series of studies, published Thursday, explored ways to transform Britain’s food system as part of a major five-year, £47.5 million research programme funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
