Dublin travel north to Monaghan blessed with the knowledge that victory will all but secure their division one status for next season.
For much of the campaign, the Dubs have looked sluggish and massively off the pace leaving many to believe that the unthinkable could happen, and that Dublin could be relegated to division two. However, big victories over Tyrone and Donegal last time out, means that the Dubs destiny is in their own hands.
Monaghan are in a relegation dogfight as well and need a victory just as much as Dublin. A massive defeat to Kildare last weekend coupled with a number of subpar performances have left Monaghan clinging to their division one status.
